Collection: Transformation

In the summer of 2020, after months of confusion and stress, we spent some time on the southern shore of Lake Michigan. Walking miles on the beach each morning at dawn, I was able to calm my mind and return to clarity, consciousness, head space, beauty. The opportunity to breathe. 

The blessing of air, and space, and peace, and expansion. The peace of sunrise, alone, not afraid of footfalls behind me. The joy of coming upon my little mama deer friend - with not one, but two spotted fawns! A time of grace in a year sorely needing it. A time to carve out for what's important, when everything is smashed and crowded yet impossible to complete.

Some mornings, particularly after a big storm, or on windy days, the shore might be littered with butterflies, dragonflies, moths and other small creatures. Some had folded wet wings and just needed to rest safely before flying away. Others were already tattered. Those formed the foundation of this collection.

There's so much goodness, should you be able to make space for it. I know I'm lucky, to have been gifted that space. So this little collection of transformation is packed full of goodness for YOU to have. A blessing in each painting, because what the world needs now is love, grace, and honesty.
